The Korenblum Lab is interested in elucidating the mechanisms that root microbiomes promote health or lead to disease of plants. With a focus on the chemical communication between roots and soil microbes, our research also aims to decipher the chemical diversity and the functions of small molecules in shaping protective microbiomes or modulating pathobiomes.
